 Brijuni
The Maker intended to shape a part of the Earth to the image of Heaven. That is how Istria came into being, like a garden covered with magnificent trees and vast meadows, washed by the deep blue sea, appealing people to a happier life. But the jealous devil destroyed his work by tearing the bag in which the angel was carrying the unused stones. Thousands of rocks scattered around the Istrian land making it a land of contrasts, gentle and rough, fertile and barren, sunny and cloudy. The desolated angels gathered the pieces of Heaven remaining among the scattered rocks and protected them by the sea waves and created Brijuni.
 Mljet
Mljet is an elongated island, with an average width of 3 km, 37 km long. It is an Island of great diversity and contrast, and "Mljet" National Park covers his northwestern part with an area of 5.375 ha of protected land and surrounding sea. This area was proclaimed as national park 11 November 1960 and represents the first institutionalized attempt to protect an original ecosystem in the Adriatic.

The Krka National Park is located entirely within the territory of Šibnik-Knin County and encompasses an area of 109 square kilometers along the Krka River: two kilometers downriver from Knin to Skradin and the lower part of the Čikola River

Risnjak is a mountain area demarcated by the road Gornje Jelenje - Gerovo - Crni Lug - Mrzla Vodica - Gornje Jelenje. To the west of Risnjak stands the massif of Snjeznik, to the north the Kupa valley, to the east Mt. Drgomalj, and to the south the main road connecting Zagreb and Rijeka. The central part of Risnjak, covering 32 sq. km of the highest ground and most interesting territory, was proclaimed a national park in 1953

 Zagreb  -  hoofdstad van Kroatië

 Brac  -  eiland tussen het eiland Hvar en de stad Split
An ihrer Südseite schmiegt sich malerisch Bol, die älteste Siedlung der Insel, an den Fels. Berühmt sind die Strãnde von Bol mit ihren runden Kieselsteinen. Sie haben eine Lãnge von fast zehn Kilometern. Unter den Strãnden der gesamten Adria nimmt Zlatni rat, das «Golden Horn», eine besondere Stellung eine besondere Stellung ein. Diese ins Meer ragende schmale Landzunge wandert unter dem Einfluss von Meeresströmung, Wind und Wellen bisweilen nach Westen, bisweilen nach Osten. Die Strãnde Bols worden von Touristen schon vor langer Zeit entdeckt.
 Brijuni Eilanden [ nationaal Park ]
The Brijuni islands stretch along the south-west coast of the Istrian peninsula; they are separated from the Istrian mainland by the Fažana Channel which is 3 kilometers wide.

Ligt in het noordelijke deel van de Kvarner-bocht, in het plaatsje Osor en met een draaibrug met het eiland  Lošinj verbonden. Cres is een bergachtig eiland, 66 km lang en 2 tot 12 km breed. Die Küste ist stark gegliedert und ca. 248 km lang. In ihrem westlichen und südlichen Teil gibt es zahlreiche Buchten und Kieselstrände, während den nördlichen und östlichen Teil steile Felsen säumen.

The most recognizable feature which difines the history of Dubrovnik and gives it its characteristic are its intact city walls which run uninterrupted for 1940 meters encircling the city. This complex structure, one of the most beautiful and strongest fort systems in the Europe is the main attraction to the city's visitors.
Five fortresses, St. Lawrence and Revelin togather with another three incorporated in the city walls, Minceta Tower, Fort Bokar and St. John's Fortress give to its visitors unforgettable view of the city. Weddings are held in the small St. Lawrence's chaple or on Minèeta Tower. Performances and concerts are organized on Fort Revelin and St. John's fortress during the Summer Festival.
 Fazana  -  8 km noordelijk van Puna
In Fažana and its surroundings Roman patricians built their villas and villae rusticae and processed olives and grapes. The village called Vasianum in Roman times, situated across the Brijuni archipelago was named after the workshop for making amphorae and various pottery. Naderhand ontwikkelde het zich tot een typisch vissersdorp dat, nadat de Brijuni in de vijftiger jaren de residentie van Josip Broz Tito, president van het toenmalige Joegoslavië, de toegangspoort tot de Brijuni werd.
 Funtana
Funtana is a fishermen's, agricultural and tourist village on the western coast of Istria, settled between tourist towns Vrsar and Porec. This territory is spreading from Zeiena Laguna in the west till Valkanela in the south. This is the part of the istrian coast abounding with bays, peninsulas and islands. Funtana has some 1000 inhabitants. Funtana is surrounded by hilly country covered with vineyards, olive groves, fields and meadows, oak and pine forests that are frequently spreading till shoreline.

De stad draagt de naam van Koning Karel de IVe en kreeg vooral bekendheid als kuuroord in de 18e en 19e eeuw voor de hoge adel.  Medulin - Medulin Riviera
Along the 70 kilometers of indented coastline, in coves and bays, lie five picturesque towns. The largest and most famous among them, as well as the administrative center is Medulin with a population of 2,500. This is also where the greatest number of amenities needed for a relaxing holiday is located. Owing to the mild climate guests are welcome from early spring to late autumn.
Owing to its exceptional climatic conditions Medulin is often the destination for training and competitions of top European sportsmen and teams.

De hoofdgerechten hangen af van de plaats waar u zich bevindt. In Dalmatië, het kustgebied, op de eilanden en in Istrië bestaan de hoofdgerechten voornamelijk uit verschillende soorten vis en andere "zeevruchten" en wat vlees betreft uit - pasticada's (deeggerecht) of gekookt lamsvlees.
In het binnenland van Kroatië bestaat een enorme verscheidenheid aan vleesgerechten. Bijzondere specialiteiten zijn purica s mlincima (kalkoen met meelreepjes), gebraden lamsvlees, gebraden biggenvlees, gekookte of gebakken strukli (kaasflappen). Wat de zoetigheden betreft zijn er afgezien van de vermelde strukli: orehnjaca (walnotenbrood), makovnjaca (papaverbrood), savijaca (strudel) met kaas of verschillende vruchten.
